This 2000 Honda Civic Type R is a Japanese-market right-hand-drive example that was purchased by the seller in Japan in 2024, and it was subsequently imported into Canada. It is finished in Championship White over red upholstery and is powered by a 1.6-liter B16B inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Features include a Mugen carbon-fiber air-intake system, a Spoon axle-back exhaust system, a limited-slip differential, white-finished 15″ seven-spoke wheels, a front shock tower brace, four-wheel disc brakes, power-adjustable side mirrors, a Pioneer stereo, air conditioning, red-letter Défi gauges, power windows and locks, and Recaro front bucket seats. This sixth-generation Civic Type R shows 313k kilometers (~195k miles) and is now offered in Canada with import documents, service records, memorabilia, a Car VX report, and Ontario registration.
The car is finished in Championship White and features a rear spoiler, power-adjustable side mirrors, and a single exhaust outlet.
The white-finished 15″ seven-spoke wheels are mounted with Kenda Vezda UHP Max tires, which were fitted in July 2025. Braking is handled by anti-lock discs at each corner, and a shock tower brace spans the engine bay. The car rides on a double-wishbone suspension. The brakes were serviced in July 2025.
The Recaro front bucket seats and split-folding rear bench are upholstered in red, and interior equipment includes a titanium shift knob, a remote entry system, air conditioning, a Pioneer head unit, and power windows and locks.
The MOMO four-spoke airbag steering wheel frames a Type R-branded 190-km/h speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. A trio of red-letter Défi STS26B gauges for water temperature, oil temperature, and oil pressure are stationed on the center stack. The six-digit odometer shows 313k kilometers (~195k miles), approximately 4k kilometers (~2,500 miles) of which were added under current ownership.
The 1.6-liter B16B DOHC inline-four features VTEC variable valve timing, and it produced 182 horsepower and 118 lb-ft of torque when new. Modifications include a Mugen carbon-fiber air-intake system as well as a Spoon axle-back exhaust system. A sticker in the engine bay notes that the timing belt was replaced in February 2015 at 305k kilometers (~190k miles). The oil was changed in July 2025. A photo showing compression-test results is included in the gallery.
Power is sent to the front wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential.
