This 1977 Datsun 620 pickup is said to have been sent to California Stepside Manufacturing Co. for a stepside bed conversion prior to being sold new at McAlester Datsun in McAlester, Oklahoma. It is said to have been purchased by the seller from the mother of the original owner in 2024, and it shows 27k miles. The truck is finished in Desert Gold over tan vinyl and patterned cloth upholstery, and it is powered by a 2.0-liter inline-four linked to a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes 14″ turbine-style wheels, a Hitachi radio, quadruple headlights, and dual side mirrors. This 620 is offered with the owner’s manual, service records, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.
The truck is finished in Desert Gold with contrasting pinstripes and tailgate graphics, and equipment includes a stepside bed, quad headlights, and chrome bumpers.
The 14″ turbine-style wheels were with Delta Majestic A/S tires approximately 60 miles ago. The truck was factory equipped longitudinal leaf springs with telescopic shock absorbers as well as recirculating-ball type steering. Stopping is provided by power-assist drum brakes.
The cab features a bench seat trimmed in brown vinyl and patterned cloth upholstery with matching door panels. Appointments include a locking glovebox, a Hitachi radio, and wind-up windows. The seller states the air conditioning system has not been checked. An uninstalled replacement speaker is included in the sale.
The steering wheel sits ahead of a 100-mph speedometer and auxiliary readouts monitoring coolant temperature and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 27k miles, a handful of which were added under current ownership.
The 2.0-liter inline-four was factory equipped with a two-barrel downdraft carburetor and was rated at 112 horsepower and 108 lb-ft of torque when new. Service in February 2025 included repairing the ignition switch and replacing the voltage regulator, fuel tank, fuel pump, and fuel hoses.
